purpose

It is used in heating, petroleum, chemical industry, steel, water conservancy, electric power, food, water supply and drainage, environmental protection, sewage treatment, pharmacy and other industries。

working principle

According to Faraday electromagnetic induction principle, a pair of detection electrodes are installed on the pipe wall perpendicular to the axis and magnetic line of force of the measuring tube. When the conductive liquid moves along the axis of the measuring tube, the conductive liquid cuts the magnetic line of force and generates an induced potential. The induced potential is detected by two detection electrodes, and the value is in positive proportion to the flow rate,

Where:

E - induced potential;

K - coefficient related to magnetic field distribution and axial length;

B - magnetic induction strength;

V - average velocity of conductive liquid;

D - electrode spacing; (measuring inner diameter of tube)

The sensor takes the induced electromotive force E as the flow signal and transmits it to the converter. After the signal processing such as amplification, transformation and filtering, the instantaneous flow rate and cumulative flow rate are displayed by dot matrix liquid crystal with backlight. The converter has 4 ~ 20mA output, alarm output and frequency output. It also has RS-485 communication interface and supports Hart and Modbus protocol.
